Shattered Teaser 2

Alyssa Boyd had big plans. Big plans that included getting the hell out of the little town she’d grown up in with her two best friends. When she decided it was time to let one of them know her true feelings for him; a change of plans resulted in a tragic turn of events. Now, Alyssa is left alone to find her way out of the darkness that an untimely death has left in its wake.

Jesse Vaughn was never good at letting people in. He’d learned a long time ago that it’s easier that way because people leave, or, unfortunately, die. The one person he wanted to let in doesn’t want him anymore. The only problem is he can’t stop thinking about her. Jesse returns to the childhood home he left behind with one goal in mind… to convince her that they should be together.

When Jesse finds Alyssa she’s not the same girl he left behind. She’s wild, reckless and hell-bent on not giving Jesse a second chance. Lucky for Jesse, his stubborn streak has always been a mile-wide and he’s not about to give up on her.

When your life has been shattered can you really pick up all the pieces and move on?

Alyssa Boyd feels guilty.

And alone.

Her plans after high school were to leave the small town called home behind and run away to Florida with her best friends Jesse and Garrett.

They meant the world to each other.

The dynamic of the Terrific Trio was this… I was the dramatic one, Jesse was the stubborn one and Garrett was the one who reminded us both to breathe. He was always the one to calm me down, when I swore my world was ending. He was the one who would convince Jesse to come down off his high horse and compromise. More than just that, he was the one who held us together.

The a terrible accident happened and Garrett’s life was taken.

And Jesse left town.

Without Alyssa.

So now she is just trying to get through high school. With her BFF Januaury and her boyfriend Hapley trying to keep her sane.

Alyssa starts to make stupid mistakes towards graduation. Drinking too much. Partying with the wrong guys.

And then Jesse comes home.

He’s come back for her.

Will she give him a chance to explain why he left her?

You’ll have to read to find out!

This book had a lot of potential.

Written in dual POV between Jesse and Lyss, it included past flashbacks and also the present.

I could have done with a few more flashbacks personally. It was great to see the dynamic between them, especially when you see why they stopped by Alyssa’s house the first time! What a good friend.

It was like  I was being told how to feel. Not shown. And I love having my feelings played with in books.

Ok but honestly.. it felt like we were waiting forever for Lyss to get her head oit of her ass and talk to Jesse about everything they were feeling. And then when it did..

NEK MINNUT! Was like someone hit the fast forward button. Everything just happened way too fast.

And another part of the storyline that pissed me off were Lyss’ parents.

Yep I got her Mum had a shit life once it was explained to me, but that doesn’t excuse her behaviour. Her Dad should have told her a long time ago instead of Lyss feeling like she did. It was kinda pushed under the rug with an apology.

I was happy with the ending though. I mean seriously who doesn’t love a HEA. And a standalone HEA? Who doesn’t love that!

Jesse Vaughn was back.

Was he the one who took me home from the party last night? Why didn’t I remember? How drunk was I?

It had been nine long months since I’d last seen him, or even heard from him for that matter. I turned back to face January and Hap in utter disbelief.

“Yep.” Hap nodded with a confirming smile. January’s expression matched her boyfriend’s. They were excited about the possible reunion of Jesse and me. January knew everything that almost happened, so it went without saying that Hap was clued in. I hated to break it to them, but this wasn’t going to be the happily ever after that they’d hoped for. As much as I wanted to run up, wrap my arms around his neck and tell him how much I’d missed him, I couldn’t fight the dormant anger that I’d let be suppressed by the sadness and guilt. He left me. It was bad enough that Garrett was gone, but that wasn’t his choice. Jesse had left because he wanted to. I brought my hands up and covered my face, hoping he would walk back out the door before I had to face him.

“Hey, Lyss.” The tone of his voice was hesitant, surely he knew I was in shock to see him. “How are you?” It was hard to tell if he meant, “How are you? It’s been nine months since I last saw you.” or “How are you after getting completely shit-faced last night?” Just hearing his deep, raspy voice sent a ripple across my skin. I really thought he was gone.

I looked up to see him standing beside our table. He looked the same. He’d let his hair grow out, just a little bit longer, but it was same jet-black color and messy tousled look I remembered. The glow of his suntanned skin led me to believe that he’d been hiding out somewhere sunny as opposed to what I’d assumed, which was that he must have crawled under a rock and died, or fell off the face of the earth. Why else would he have just completely disappeared from my life? Everything that had happened the night of Garrett’s accident flashed in my mind. I couldn’t even begin to form a complete sentence. Instead, I pushed out of the booth and looked directly in the eyes I’d tried to forget.

“Don’t,” was all I could come up with before I ran out of the diner.

“Alyssa, please.” He followed me out the door. “Can’t we just talk?”

“No!” I yelled out, not breaking my stride as I walked across the street.

His hands stopped mine before I could pull the car door open and escape. The contact of our skin sent a shock up my arm. “Please.” I turned to see the desperation in his eyes. He pulled his lip between his teeth and brushed a stray hair from my cheek. His hand rested on my cheek. I caught myself turning my face into his strong, warm hand and quickly pulled away. As much as I wanted to fight it, everything that I’d felt for him was still there. I still wanted him to touch me. To kiss me. The guilt and anger that accompanied the desire was too much.

“I can’t do this, Jesse.” I pulled my face from his and quickly sunk behind the wheel of my car. I drove away, leaving him alone on the street.

I wasn’t ready to talk to him. To ask him the string of questions that had been running through my head for months. To explain my erratic behavior the night before. I wasn’t ready for any of it. So, I did the only thing I could think of to avoid the entire situation. I went home, opened the desk drawer and retrieved my new foolproof method of not dealing with it.

Night After Night – Lauren Blakely

**Warning: Spare panties are needed…you’re welcome.***

“You are being rewarded for turning me on. But we’re doing it my way. You teased the hell out of me, and now I want to watch you squirm. Crawl up on my bed and get on your hands and knees.”

Their world was sex, love, and lies.
He intoxicated her. Commanded. Consumed.
With a dirty mind and a mouth to match, Clay Nichols is everything Julia never knew she wanted and exactly what she cannot have. He walked into her life one night and unlocked pleasure in her that she never knew was possible. Possessing her body, captivating her every thought. Which makes him way too dangerous for Julia Bell to risk her heart, given that she has a price tag on her head. She ran after one mind-blowing week with him, but now he’s back, and determined to make her his own.
No matter the cost.
She was a sexy drug to him. Fiery, unforgettable, and never enough, Julia is an enigma, and Clay isn’t willing to let her go without a fight. But she’s got dark secrets of her own that threaten to destroy any chance of happiness. She’s a wanted woman – the stakes are high, her every move is watched, and yet the lure between them can’t be denied. Can two people burned by love trust again when desire and passion are met by danger at every turn?

A sensual, emotionally-charged erotic romance that is now a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling novel!

Please note: This book is intended for 18+ due to dirty talk, light bondage, and lots of sexy scenes. This ebook edition also includes the prequel novella First Night, which precedes Night After Night. The sequel, After This Night, releases May 12  and can be pre-ordered now.

 photo 4_zpsa6739e0a.png

The copy I received had both First Night and Night after Night. Both solid 4 stars but here they are, separately.

First Night

 photo icame_zps434964b2.gif

That was one epic fucking novella…

The goldilocks effect.
The right amount of backstory without giving too much.
The right amount of chemistry.
The right amount of talking
The right amount of secrets and hints to make me intrigued.
The right amount of hot, sweaty, dirty,, no holds barred sex!

Seriously.. I need more Clay and Julia! NOW

Night After Night

Whereas the Novella is all about the sex…
Can I just say it is off the charts fucking hot sex at that!

This book gives us more of a story for Clay and Julia.

As the blurb states Their world was sex, love, and lies.

Julia is keeping one hellova a secret.
Clay’s deal breaker? Yep you guessed it.. Lying!

The two start a journey into a long term relationship. Learning to let each other in, discovering they are compatible not just in bed (again more explosive scenes!) but also out of it.

Clay is an amazing book boyfriend and will have you falling hard for him.
Just as Julia is a strong independent woman…… most of the time… she is keeping something from Clay. Something huge.
Something he may not forgive her for.

Can they both move on from their past.. clean the slate?

WELL Just like me you will have to wait to find out cos yep *DING DING DING* You guessed it. another cliffhanger!

This was my first Lauren Blakely book (ok well second cos I read the novella too!) and I really enjoyed her writing.
The story adapted and flowed smoothly.
Character chemistry was amazing.
Descriptions and such were good.
All in all a solid 4 stars from me!

Hanging for the next!

“The Resistance” by S.L Scott – Review & Giveaway

 photo theresistance_zps1c24171b.jpg

You don’t choose when.
You don’t choose where.
And you don’t get to choose who you fall in love with.

The minute he opened his sexy mouth, Holliday Hughes should have known Jack Dalton was trouble. His smooth pickup lines, broad shoulders, and ridiculously handsome face charmed her right out of her clothes. She gave into her desires, the instant attraction blinding her to the obvious.

One night. That was all it took for Holliday’s world to be flipped on its axis. Jack Dalton was cocky. Smug. Volatile. Demanding. He ignited something deep inside her like no other, but there was something more to this brooding bad boy. There was a dark side to him she couldn’t help but be drawn to.

Torn between what she knew about him and a mysterious side he tried to hide, could she walk away or was he simply too hard to resist?

I’m going to try and keep this review, short and sweet. With a bit of vague thrown in there.

Anyone who knows me, knows I hate spoilers, and won’t read reviews on a book before I have read it so that it’s all a surprise.

I will tell you that, S.L Scott has a reason that the synopsis is vague.

When it all unravels it will be worth the surprise. (I will tell you that I cried at one stage, and peeps that’s hard to make me do!)

So I ask you. Do you like

  • Sex
  • Angst
  • Surprise twists
  • Hot Sex
  • Angst
  • Kickass independent heroines
  • Sweaty messy Sex
  • Cocky but oh so hot Heros
  • Down and dirty Sex
  • Well written stories
  • Just plain hot Sex
  • Stories about “what happens in vegas”
  • Flanter (flirty banter)
  • Romance
  • HEA’s

If you have answered yes to at least of 3 of the above. I highly recommend this book. AND it’s currently on sale for NINETY NINE CENTS!

It’s different. I will tell you that.

Did the heroine piss me off? OF COURSE SHE DID! We need her and him to do stupid shit so that we will have more story though!

I haven’t read anything else by this author but I think I will be!

Book Title: The Bare Bones

Author: Layla Wolfe
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 1, 2014
Hosted by: Book Enthusiast Promotions

If you ain’t living on the edge, you’re taking up too much room.

The rose-colored illusion of Madison Shellmound’s girlish crush on biker Ford Illuminati is stomped into smithereens by his crude, perverse father Cropper, Bare Bones club President. Fearing Ford will kill Cropper if he finds out, Madison flees town, becoming an upstanding cardiology nurse.

Madison and Ford have an ill-fated, star-crossed love that will last their lifetimes. Ford is a lifer in a different sort of enterprise, the gritty full-throttle club of guns, blood, and allegiance to his brothers.

Twelve years and several tours of SEAL duty later, Ford is thrust back into Madison’s arms on the worst day of his life. Madison’s prospect brother Speed has screwed up big-time and owes the club his life. She offers herself to Cropper as a sacrificial lamb to save Speed.

But how long until the fiery, full-on outlaw Ford discovers that the woman he loves was treated like a degraded slave by his own father? Well, meet the new boss. He’s not the same as the old boss.

This is not your mother’s romance. Readers will encounter molestation, drugging, consensual bondage and discipline, violence, and a HEA. It’s a full-length novel of 65,000 words. Recommended 18+ due to content.

We fucked a lot in the next two days. Twelve years I’d been craving that fat, juicy cock inside of me, and now I couldn’t get enough of it. Ford Illuminati was hung like a racehorse and he knew how to use it, too. My hands were all over that. I had thought I was attracted to Jake but that paled in comparison to the intensity with which I wanted to devour Ford.

Riding one up behind him like in the old high school days, there was a world of difference now. We were free of all restraints for that glorious forty-eight hours, and Ford took me to see a couple of the vortexes. We had been on a tour of these several times when we were kids. This time no one brought any weed, and I wanted to suck on that horse cock inside the middle of a vortex.

We had been separated for so long it was like meeting a new man. The thrill, the illicit excitement of canyon carving through the rusty layers of sandstone, like red velvet cake tall on either side of us, it was all new to me again. Now I could thrust my hand along Ford’s pec and toy with the little barbell that pierced his nipple, proud of myself when my other hand felt his cock stiffening. I knew he pretended this irritated him, and he’d reach around, slap my ass, and shake it.

“You’re throwing me off-balance.”

“Your giant erection is throwing you off-balance.”

I wanted to amplify our energies, so we’d climb around awhile until we felt the highest, most intense amplification of all, and that’s where we’d fuck or give each other head. Ford had learned a lot of tricks in the past decade. Lapping me into a mindless clusterfuck of an orgasm with his talented tongue was apparently one of them. I was still amazed that he could do that.

I finally had to admit I’d never come with a man before. “Just, you know, with a vibrator.” I didn’t want to mention the shower head in Cottonwood. The horrific memory of that bathroom wall was probably the reason I couldn’t come with another man.

Ford was humble. “Maybe no one ever tried properly.” He lay stretched out on the sandstone, propped up on one forearm, looking like he was posing for fucking GQ. I loved it when he wore his cut next to his bare skin, like now. I loved to flick that damned infernal barbell that pierced his nipple with my tongue. It never failed to make him hiss in air and clutch the back of my skull. His new Apache tattoo was fascinating. He seemed to be embracing his Native American heritage instead of shunning it, as most bikers would do.

He had replaced the grimy dog collar around my neck with a fur-lined leather job that still had a D-ring where a leash could be attached. He had gotten into some kink that was right up my alley. Right now we were having a little picnic we’d brought, just wine and some salami and cheese and crackers, but he’d left the short leash attached to my collar. It wasn’t safe to ride with it for fear of pulling an Isadora Duncan, but he liked the submissive way it made me look.

And act. “That’s not true though, Ford. It’s not polite to mention, but plenty of men have tried.”

“Yeah.” He snorted. “Plenty of dickhead doctors.”

Was he referring to Jake? That subject hadn’t come up, so I ignored it. There was plenty of time for strife later, I knew. There always was. “No, I mean experienced guys, men who were willing to try for ten minutes or more. I always wound up worrying that they were wearing out their tongue muscles. I’m not kidding, Ford. It got to the point where I didn’t want anyone to even bother trying. Then you come along and blow them all out of the water.”

“Literally.” I could tell he was proud by the shy way he looked down at the cracker box. He shrugged innocently. “I don’t know what to say.”

“’Thank you’ is a good starter.”

“Thank you.”

“Tainted Pictures” – by Sarah Robinson Review/Links/Excerpt

Tainted Pictures (The Photographer Trilogy #2)
Romantic Suspense
Sarah Robinson
Kate Jackson had no idea who she was until she met Derrick Kane and their whirlwind romance turned out to be everything she needed to build a future and heal her past.
But a shocking crime leads Kate to uncover the work of an extremely dangerous serial killer, notoriously called “The Photographer” due to his penance for taking pictures of his victims.
Derrick continues to work to gain back Kate;s trust and to find The Photographer as Kate builds new friendships and finds new skills.
Can she catch The Photographer and learn to trust Derric again? Find out in Tainted Picture’s sequel and the final installment of The Photographer Trilogy.

**Please note that this book is to be followed by a final book in the trilogy, therefore contains a cliffhanger.

DISCLAIMER: Due to violent and dark subject matter, this book is meant for 18+.

This is the second book in the Photographer series.

In my opinion this book trumps the first book.

This cannot be read as a standalone. It is part of a series and you need to have read the first one or the whole storyline will not make sense. (and you will have missed out on a great read!)

It’s more fast paced, more focused on the ‘Photographer” the investigation and has many plot twists and turns.

Derrick and Kate are trying to piece their relationship back together, after Derrick’s betrayal.

Kate feels as if she can’t trust him and she has good reason not too.

Kate starts to put her life back together weeks after the attack. She moves on with Derrick, starts working again and helps the police with their investigation.

Just like with the first book this told in the third person POV and we have Kate, Derrick her sister Annie as well as the police officers and Uncle Lenny.

The photographer has done this before.

Except no one else is left alive.

Kate is the only one.

And he is coming back.

He starts to stalk Kate,, taking photos of her and leaving them for her to find.

New leads are coming through and they are getting closer and closer to finding who he is.

Can they find out before it’s too late…

Just rememeber that this is Book 2.. so Yep a Cliffhanger.

But I will be there on release day waiting to see what happens!

Book 1 – Tainted Bodies
Book 2 – Tainted Pictures
Book 1 – Tainted Bodies
Book 2 – Tainted Pictures
Kate just nodded slowly and picked up her phone.  She sent Derrick a text message, not saying anything specific except that she needed him there now.  She just didn’t know what else to tell him over text message and she wasn’t sure she could put a string of words together to talk over the phone.  The joy she had felt all day had come to a crashing halt and everything had taken two steps backwards.
Plus the truth was that she did need him.  She needed him right this moment, his arms wrapped around her to hold her up, his breath against her neck reminding her that she was alive, his eyes piercing through her in a way that always made her brain completely shut down.  She needed to shut down in that way that only he was capable of bringing out in her.  She wanted him to be there right now and her anxiety began to raise as she realized how badly every second without him felt to her.
Detective Snow was on her phone calling her partner and forensic techs to come sweep the apartment.  Kate went to her bedroom to put on a sweatshirt and some socks, since she was only wearing a tank top and pajama bottoms at that point.  She then went back to the kitchen where Detective Snow was writing in a notepad.  She sat down next to her and began sipping the tea that had been made for her, but she wasn’t even tasting it.
Finally there was a knock at the door and Kate jumped up out of her chair.  She wasn’t sure how much time had gone by since she had sat down at the table, she felt quite out of it.  All she knew is that Derrick was at the door and she couldn’t handle another moment not having his broad, thick arms clenched around her shoulders and pressing her tightly against his chest.  She rushed to the door, flying right past Detective Snow, and swung open the front door.
“Good evening, Kate.”  It was Detective McCraig with several crime scene technicians behind him wearing matching windbreakers and carrying cases and boxes of supplies.  Kate felt her entire face fall and practically hit the floor, she couldn’t possibly have looked more disappointed to see him.  McCraig wrinkled his eyebrows at her furtively, wondering why she looked so startled to see him.
She didn’t say hello back but instead just stepped to the side and motioned everyone into her apartment.  She grabbed her jacket hanging near the door and pulled it on and stepped into some tennis shoes, getting ready to leave.  She didn’t want to be here while they were making her apartment look like a crime scene again.  She just stood there, dejectedly, and waited for the last person to walk in the door so that she could leave.
“Kate?”  Someone called her and she looked up to see the last crime scene technician walk past her, but behind him was a friendly face.  Derrick stood in the doorway, almost blocking the entire entrance with his large, muscular frame.
“You beckoned, beautiful?”  He grinned at her, knowing that she needed a hint of normalcy right now.  Kate burst into a smile and rushed to him, throwing her arms around his neck and burying her face into his smooth, soft skin.  He caught her with his arms around her waist and on her back, her feet dangling off the ground as he supported her.
“Take me away from here.” Kate whispered to him.
“You’re with me now and everything else doesn’t matter.  Just you and me.  This is all that matters.  Let’s forget about everything else for tonight?” Derrick touched her chin, gently pulling her to face him.  She nodded in agreement, eager to have him take over and just care for her.  She was too worn out to keep pretending everything was fine.  Everything was not fine. There was a psychotic killer hunting her.  That’s really the very definition of not fine.
Seeing Derrick here pushed all of those thoughts away.  The way he expanded to take over the room and envelope her in his arms was mesmerizing.  She glanced up at him, her arms still wrapped around his waist and he head leaning against his shoulder.  His lips were only inches from hers.  Her eyes were searching his, looking for any signs of doubt, any signs that he might betray her again.  She wanted to push that fear away, she couldn’t keep holding onto this much fear.  She loved Derrick and she knew he wasn’t the same man he had been before.
“And I’m never going to leave you again.” He whispered, reading the fear in her gaze and stifling it immediately.  He wished he had never made the mistake to abandon her in her time of need and he knew he would happily spend every day for the rest of his life reassuring her that he would never be that man again.
The corners of her mouth lifted into a smile and she looked down at his lips and then back up at his deep, gentle eyes.  He wasn’t going to deny her another moment and so he leaned down and kissed her gently.  He squeezed her tighter against him as he did and then he smiled at her in the midst of their kiss and lowered her back down so her feet were on the ground.  With one quick motion, he reached down and one of his arms swept up behind her knees lifting her straight up into his arms.  She squeaked in surprise but didn’t try to fight him.
“Let’s go home.”  Derrick said to her, as he carried her down the hallway and she curled up in his large arms.

Love In Englishbannerfinal

Title: Love, In English

Author: Karina Halle

Release Date: April 20th, 2014

He’s thirty-eight. I’m twenty-three.

He speaks Spanish. I speak English.

He lives in Spain. I live in Canada.

He dresses in thousand-dollar suits. I’m covered in tattoos.

He’s married and has a five-year old daughter.

I’m single and can’t commit to anyone or anything.

Until now.Because when they say you can’t choose who you fall in love with, boy ain’t that the f*#king truth.

To a restless dreamer like Vera Miles, it sounded like the experience of a lifetime. Instead of spending her summer interning for her astronomy major, she would fly to Spain where she’d spend a few weeks teaching conversational English to businessmen and women, all while enjoying free room and board at an isolated resort. But while Vera expected to get a tan, meet new people and stuff herself with wine and paella, she never expected to fall in love.

Mateo Casalles is unlike anyone Vera has ever known, let alone anyone she’s usually attracted to. While Vera is a pierced and tatted free spirit with a love for music and freedom, Mateo is a successful businessman from Madrid, all sharp suits and cocky Latino charm. Yet, as the weeks go on, the two grow increasingly close and their relationship changes from purely platonic to something…more.

Something that makes Vera feel alive for the first time.

Something that can never, ever be.

Or so she thinks.

Claudia shrugged and pulled down at her yellow tee. “Not my problem. Eduardo is nice but Ricardo is really nice.”

“How did it happen?” I asked, kinda wanting the sordid details.

She was coy. “The way it usually happens.”

“Did you make the first move?”

Another shrug. “Why not?”

I swear, a shrug and a “why not?” were the Spaniards’ go-to answer for everything.

“Well, then I guess it seems safe—and a little boring now—to tell you that I have a crush on someone.”

Her brows quirked up. “Other than Mateo?”

I’ve never been the kind of person to give
up on something I want. Now, I refuse to take no for an answer. I want this
girl. I want to help her, and sleep with her, and steal things with her, and
make her laugh the way she did right that night in her friend’s car. We’re
going to have a summer neither of us will ever forget, and by the time we go
our separate ways, she’ll have enough money to go to college, and I will have
had her…every way I want her.
I’m starting to forget why it’s a bad idea
to get in any deeper with a boy who is a walking, talking contradiction. A boy
who has a taste for breaking the law, a wicked way with words, and a confident
touch that leaves no doubt he’s way more experienced than I am. I’ve spent my
life putting aside my own needs and cleaning up after other people’s mistakes.
Now, I want to make a mistake of my own.
I know I’m playing with fire, but for Gabe

“Are you sure you don’t want me to take you home?” Gabe asks, turning left toward downtown. “I don’t want to be accused of breaking my promises.”

“Do you want to take me home?”

“Hell, no,” he says, voice husky. “I want you to put your hand down your panties.”

My breath hitches. “What?”

“I want you to touch yourself,” he says, glancing my way, the heat in his eyes enough to make me feel flushed all over. “You’ve done that before, right?”

I swallow. “I’m twenty years old. What do you think?”

“Show me how you do it,” he says, slowing the car a few miles per hour, making something inside me send up a wail of frustration, angry that he’s costing us precious seconds. “Touch yourself for me, Caitlin.”

My heart lurches, and my hand trembles as I reach for the hem of my dress. I’m shocked by how turned on I am, and even more shocked that I want to obey Gabe’s order. That I want to lift my skirt up around my waist with one hand as I slip the other—slowly, slowly, knowing Gabe’s watching out of the corner of his eye as he drives—down the front of my white satin panties.

My throat tightens and my eyes slide closed as I ease my fingers through my swollen folds, feeling the molten slickness of my own arousal, trembling as one knuckle brushes over my clit, sending a ripple of excitement sweeping through me, making my nipples tighten inside my bra. A part of me is mortified that I’m doing this in front of Gabe—especially while he’s still fully dressed—but another part of me is already flying, loving the rush that sweeps through me as he curses beneath his breath. The desire in his voice makes me feel powerful, beautiful, fierce and lovely, and in touch with the most primal part of myself—like dancing, only better.

So much better.

“I can’t wait to taste you,” he says, his voice ragged.

My eyes squeeze more tightly closed, my breath coming faster as I dip my hand lower, dipping into the well of heat between my legs.

“Fuck it,” he says. “I don’t want to wait.”

His fingers close around my wrist and my eyes fly open. He tugs my hand from my panties, bringing it to his mouth, slipping my index finger between his lips and suckling, moaning as his tongue sweeps up and down, licking my arousal from my skin. The firm pressure of his tongue and the light suction of his mouth send a jolt of excitement speeding through me.

I’ve never thought of a finger as an erogenous zone, but in Gabe’s mouth, it is. It feels like every nerve-ending in my body has relocated to my finger and every one of them is celebrating being closer to Gabe’s lips, his tongue, his teeth that drag lightly over my skin as he pulls one finger from his mouth only to insert the next.

He licks me clean with a thoroughness that makes it clear he loves the way I taste before threading his fingers through mine and squeezing tight.

“This is it.” He swings the car into a deserted parking lot, into a space marked “Reserved for the Law Offices of Aaron Alexander.”

He brakes hard; my pulse leaps in my throat.

This is it. We’re here.
